What is a “Starter”?
What is a “Starter”?
Our “STARTER’s” (warmups) offer a wide variety of movements and are versatile enough to prepare you for the movements to come during your session.
The “Starter” will prepare the body for exercises by gradually increasing the heart rate and circulation; this will loosen the joints and increase blood flow to the muscles. Mobilising the muscles prepares them for physical activity and helps to prevent injuries. The starter is also a good opportunity for an individual to prepare themselves mentally for the game ahead and/or for your team to work together prior to the start of the session.
Do not do yourself a disservice by ignoring or rushing through a proper starter.
You will be glad you did it in the long run.
We threw this little dynamic Starter together for our Saturday crew along with a 75min session.
